Dementia specialist, Belong Chester care village, took part in this year's annual duck race.

The local care village was represented by its own duck entry - 'Blossom and Buzz'.

The Chester Duck Race is held each year to raise money for The Countess Charity.

The family-friendly event takes place on the River Dee where attendees watch elaborately dressed rubber ducks race along the river to the finish line.

Charlotte Parton, experience coordinator at Belong Chester, said: "It was a lovely day meeting people in our community, as well as being part of this amazing event, bringing Chester together.

"We spent some time gifting 'What's On' guides, so everyone can get involved in the activities at our village - our doors are open to all.

"It was a pleasure to help raise funds for The Countess Charity."
