Two men charged following Chester theft

Officers from Chester Local policing unit have charged two men with theft offences.
At around 1.15pm on Thursday 27 March, police were called to reports of a theft at Boots in Chester city centre.
The caller reported that the suspects had fled the scene.
Following partnership work with CCTV operators at Cheshire West and Chester Council, officers stopped a black Ford Mondeo in Broughton.
The two occupants of the car were both arrested, with a number of suspected stolen items recovered from the car.
Francie McDonagh, 18, of no fixed abode, has since been charged with two counts of theft from a shop and two counts of going equipped for theft.
His co-accused, 18-year-old Patrick O'Donnell, of Shakespeare Avenue, London, has been charged with one count of theft from a shop and going equipped for theft.
Both men have been remanded in custody and are set to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday 28 March.
