The Hole In Wand will open its doors again on Saturday 12 April - following a series of flooding issues.

The Eastgate Street mini golf attraction has been closed since Saturday 11 January.

The attraction has attributed the recent floods to the city's "complicated piping" and "incorrect disposal of fat and grease from nearby restaurants".

The attraction has since removed and disposed of the site's contents, future proofed the site and started the process of rebuilding.

The date is now set for the attraction to reopen and the team have added some additional elements to the course.

To celebrate the reopening of the attraction during the opening weekend, and to mark the fact that the attraction was under water, the site are offering a free souvenir photo to anyone who brings with them an item they would take swimming.

This includes things such as goggles, arm bands and beach balls.

Group operations manager, Sam Budworth, said 'We are excited to reopen The Hole In Wand Chester, and the team are working hard to ensure that the course is fresh and exciting.

"We can't wait to share the additions we have made throughout the course as part of the rebuild and welcome back wizards and witches."

Online bookings have opened again and can be booked here.
