The Brewery Tap named CAMRA's West Cheshire Pub of the Year

The Brewery Tap has been announced as the winner of CAMRA'S West Cheshire branch Pub of the Year.
With a vision to champion quality ale and thriving pubs in every community, the CAMRA awards strive to celebrate the best pubs in the area.
The Brewery Tap is situated within a historic great hall, which has medieval origins and was reconstructed during the 17th century.
The Lower Bridge Street pub prides itself on its wide assortment of craft beers, proudly serving a wide variety of cask and keg beers, ciders and a well-curated selection of wines and spirits.
It will now move on to the Cheshire Pub of the Year round, where the team will compete against other branch winners from across the county.
Spitting Feathers, the brewery at the heart of the winning pub, also oversees the West Kirby Tap and the upcoming Chester Station Tap Room, which has just surpassed its £50,000 fundraising target.
Alongside its very own Spitting Feathers beers, The Brewery Tap also offers a carefully chosen assortment of guest beers sourced from local breweries.
West Cheshire CAMRA revealed the news online in a post to Facebook.
It said: "We are delighted to announce that the winner of the CAMRA West Cheshire branch Pub of the Year for 2025 is Spitting Feathers' The Brewery Tap, Chester.
"Many congratulations to Will and his team for setting such a high standard.
"We will be arranging to officially present the award and celebrate this achievement.
"They now also move on to the Cheshire POTY round where they will be competing against all the other Cheshire branches winners.
"Good luck and keep up the good work."
