Lucy & Yak's popular 'Big PreLoved Sale' is returning to Chester this month.

Running from 24 to 27 September, the store will become a dedicated PreLoved Hub, transforming a large proportion of its shop floor into rails filled with second-hand items.

The event will offer customers the chance to find preloved Lucy & Yak pieces while helping to keep clothing in circulation and divert it from landfill.

Some shoppers may also find one-off pieces upcycled and customised by the brand's Re:Yak Studio team in Yorkshire.

For each day of the sale, a golden ticket will be hidden in the store, with those who find one able to exchange it at the till for their favourite item. Students will also receive an additional 20%

Lydia Coley, managing director at Lucy & Yak, said: "Circularity is at the heart of our mission, driving us to find resourceful ways to keep our clothes in circulation for longer and reduce the amount that ends up in landfill.

"Reaching 50,000 Re:Yaks in just 3 years is a milestone we're incredibly proud of.

Customers can also return unwanted Lucy & Yak clothing as part of the Re:Yak scheme. Once processed, eligible items can earn customers a voucher worth up to £25 towards a future purchase.

Clothing that is damaged is repaired or upcycled by the Re:Yak Studio team in Yorkshire before being resold, helping to keep the garments in circulation for longer.
