The production is a new take on the Robin Hood legend, following Robin and Little John as they steal from corrupt King John and return his stolen riches to the people.

Chester Repair Café - St Thomas's Church - Saturday 18 July

Chester Repair Café is back at St Thomas's Church this weekend, where volunteer repairers will be on hand to help fix a range of household items.

Visitors are encouraged to bring one item at a time, as they will need to stay with the repairer while the work is carried out. If a replacement part is needed, it may need to be purchased and brought back to a future session.
Repairs are free of charge, although donations towards running costs are welcome. Tea and cake will also be available.
Freedom Parade - Chester City Centre - Saturday 18 July

A military parade will take place in Chester this weekend.
The Freedom Parade will take place late morning on Saturday 18 July, with 22 Multi Role Medical Regiment (22 MRMR) marching through the city to mark the regiment's Freedom of Borough of Cheshire West and Chester.
The civic honour was awarded by Cheshire West and Chester Council in recognition of the regiment's service and strong links with the borough.
Celebrating Chester's long military heritage, the event will give residents the opportunity to show their support for serving personnel, veterans and military families.
