Storyhouse will return to Grosvenor Park this summer with a new season of open-air theatre, family productions, cinema screenings and live events.

Running from 27 June to 6 September, this year's Storyhouse in the Park programme features four productions alongside outdoor cinema, comedy, family events and street food weekends.

The season opens with two new Grosvenor Park premieres.

Kieran Lynn's Outlaws: A Robin Hood Story runs from 3 July to 23 August, reimagining the legendary outlaw tale for the theatre-in-the-round. The production stars Lawrence Hodgson-Mullings as Robin Hood, Lucas Button as the Sheriff of Nottingham and Annabelle Aquino as Marian.

Alongside it, Helen Redcliffe's music-filled drama Let the Sun Shine! runs from 10 July to 23 August, telling an uplifting story of youth, community and change.

Actors appearing across the two productions include David Ahmad, Rebecca Bainbridge, Zoe Lambert, Kate Milner-Evans, Perry Moore and Robert Wade, alongside trainee performers Lewis Baron, Rachel Uyigue, Owen Ellis and Lauren Lees.

Away from the stage, the Storyhouse in the Park site will once again include its tepee bar, street food vendors, craft beer and frozen cocktails, alongside a programme of open-air cinema screenings, comedy nights, murder mystery events, yoga sessions and family craft activities.

"We're incredibly proud of the company of artists joining us this summer," said Storyhouse creative director Suzie Henderson.

"It's a cast that brings together exceptional talent from the National Theatre, the RSC, the West End and some of the country's leading producing theatres alongside returning Grosvenor Park favourites.

"It's a season full of joy, adventure and connection, and we can't wait to throw open the gates once again."

This summer's family walkabout production will be Peter Pan, running from 28 July to 13 August. Designed for children aged eight and under, the interactive adventure follows Peter, Wendy and Tinkerbell through Grosvenor Park. Thom Hallows stars as Peter Pan, with Lydia Rose Morales Scully as Wendy and Alexander McGonagle as Captain Hook.

Storyhouse has also confirmed casting for its major co-production of Jessica Swale's Olivier Award-winning comedy Nell Gwynn, staged in partnership with Shakespeare North Playhouse and Theatre by the Lake.

Rose Shalloo will play the title role alongside Adam Clifford, Celia Cruwys-Finnegan, Elliot Harper and Guy Woolf as King Charles II.
