Nigel, Cathy, Troy and Kylie Brassey would like to visit the statue of our illustrious close relation Thomas Brassey . I have large Brassey family tree depictions going back to 1066 (battle of Hastings when the Brassey's came over from Normandy with William the conqueror) proudly hanging in our house in Darwin Australia. Thomas's son (also Thomas) also had an illustrious career having amongst other things being Governor of the state of Victoria Australia just before confederation, and being a gentleman in waiting to queen Victoria. His wife'Annie' was a famous author having written many adventure novels of their travels around the world on their yacht the Sunbeam. Unfortunately we will be flying back to Darwin so will not be there for the unveiling on 28th May 25
