Plans revealed for new Saltney McDonald's

Plans have been submitted to Cheshire West and Chester Council for a new McDonald's in Saltney.
Developers are seeking to transform an "under-utilised site" on Boundary Lane, to create a McDonald's restaurant and drive thru.
If proposals get the go-ahead, it would see three buildings on the Boundary Lane site demolished - including Mallard House, Pullman House and Scotsman House.
The development would include 37 car parking spaces, two accessible bays and two EV charging stations, alongside an outdoor seating area to the south of the restaurant.
The application submitted by Lichfields on behalf of Mcdonald's states that 100 direct jobs will be created, "once the development is completed and operational".
Citing the restaurant's "modern aesthetic", which is considered "in keeping with the commercial character of the area", the application maintains the development would also meet "local demand".
Proposed design for the building includes the use of timber effect cladding and dark grey cladding panels with McDonald's branding.
Two of the buildings on the site listed for demolition are already vacant, with the remaining business set to move to new premises.
The design and access statement said: "The proposals would bring a prominent site into active use and deliver a high quality and attractive scheme in a prominent location."
"The proposed building is single-storey and would therefore not appear obtrusive in its surroundings, particularly given that it would be lower than the existing buildings on the site.
"The scale of the proposed building ensures that it will sit comfortably within the existing commercial context."
