A Hoole salon is giving away a free full hair experience every month as part of a new initiative to support the local community.

Oliver George Salon will be offering a complimentary full hair experience each month to a nominated local person who deserves a moment of care, confidence and time for themselves.

"We spend our days helping people feel good about themselves, and we wanted to take that a step further," said Stephen from Oliver George Salon.

"Hoole is such a special place, full of brilliant people, and this is our way of giving something back."

Members of the community can now nominate someone they feel would truly benefit from a treat - whether they've been through a difficult time, are always putting others first, or simply deserve to feel looked after.

Each chosen guest will receive the full Oliver George experience, from consultation through to styling - just as any paying client would.

The idea was inspired by a Michelin-starred restaurant in London that regularly gives back to its community, reinforcing the belief that businesses can play a positive role beyond just the service they provide.

Stephen added: "It's easy for business to become all about growth and targets, but we never want to lose sight of the people around us.

"This is about creating a moment for someone who might really need it."
