Chester mini golf attraction reopens after flooding repairs

The Hole In Wand reopened its doors on Saturday 12 April - following a series of flooding issues.
The Eastgate Street mini golf attraction has been closed since Saturday 11 January, attributing the recent floods to the city's "complicated piping" and "incorrect disposal of fat and grease from nearby restaurants".
Announcing its return, the mini golf site said: "The magic is back Chester!
"We have officially reopened with a fresh coat of paint and some new things for you to explore."

During its closure, The Hole in Wand removed and disposed damage from flooding and future-proofed the site in order to rebuild.
The team have also added some additional elements to the course.
To celebrate the reopening of the attraction during the opening weekend, and to mark the fact that the attraction was under water, the site offered a free souvenir photo to anyone who brought an item they would take swimming.
This included things such as goggles, arm bands and beach balls.
Group operations manager, Sam Budworth, said 'We can't wait to share the additions we have made throughout the course as part of the rebuild and welcome back wizards and witches."
