Police are appealing to the public following reports of cooking oil being 'deliberately spilt' at the Countess of Chester Country Park.

At around 9am on Saturday 22 February, police were called to reports of anti-social behaviour at the park.

The caller reported that cooking oil had been deliberately spilt on a number of footpaths.

Consequently, the Chester park run, which was set to take place the same day, had to be cancelled.

Enquiries regarding the incident are ongoing.

Cheshire Police have appealed to the public, asking anyone with any information to call Cheshire Police on 101, or visit here, quoting IML 2032798.
