Chester's Bio&Me celebrates landmark year with triple award win

A gut health brand based in Chester is celebrating a landmark year after being recognised with a series of accolades.
Bio&Me, co-founded by Dr Megan Rossi and Jon Walsh, is one of several businesses based at the University of Chester's Riverside Innovation Centre.
Launched in 2019, the healthy food firm has grown its range of granola, porridge, bars, kefir yoghurts and kefir drinks, while increasing its retail presence with products sold in UK supermarkets.
The business recently won two Grocer Gold Awards, taking home both SME (Small and Medium-sized Enterprise) Brand of the Year and Entrepreneurs of the Year. The awards recognise exceptional business growth, innovation and leadership.
Bio&Me's focus on creating delicious products that support gut health has also been recognised through three Great Taste Awards, with judges awarding products across the range including Vanilla Kefir Yoghurt, Mango and Peach Kefir Drink, and Vanilla Matcha Kefir Drink.
The company was also named in The Sunday Times 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies, achieving an impressive ranking of 60th in the UK, highlighting the significant growth the business has achieved in recent years.
