A Chester jeweller will give out a number of free gift cards this week.

On December 11, Beaverbrooks on Eastgate Street will reward its first five visitors with a gift card worth £50.

To take part, entrants must visit the Beaverbrooks store this Thursday and say the competition entry code to a member of the store team. The code is "Merry Christmas, Beaverbrooks".

It can be accompanied by festive gestures such as wearing a Christmas jumper or accessories, singing a Christmas song or bringing a festive item into the store.

Winners will receive a Beaverbrooks gift card worth £50, which can be spent on jewellery, diamonds, or watches.

"We love seeing the high street come to life at Christmas and this year we're excited to do something that adds even more sparkle to the festive shopping experience," said Samantha Taylor, branch manager at Beaverbrooks Chester.
