Welcome to Chester Nub News – the latest addition to the growing number of free, online local newspapers from Nub News. 

Edited by local journalist Dherran Titherington, our latest site shows the ethos of Nub News by putting local news and community support first.

We want to promote local businesses, traders and charities, while also keeping readers up to date with the latest headlines across Chester.

We are confident that Chester will mirror the huge success of nearby Crewe Nub News. Launched over three years ago our Crewe website is now the 'go to' place for local residents who want to know what is happening on their doorstep. 

We have fulfilled our pledge to put their town in their pocket – with more than 50,000 readers a week (and over 10,000 newsletter subscribers) already heading to our Crewe news pages. 

We hope to do the same thing for the people of Chester.
