Three charged in relation to burglary series across Chester

Officers investigating a series of burglaries across Chester, Ellesmere Port and Wirral have charged three men in relation to the offences.

The following three men were arrested on Tuesday 11 March.

Chester resident, 63-year-old Alexander Emslie, was the oldest of the group.

The others include 23-year old Kelvin Franklin, of no fixed abode, and Marlon Burrows, also 23, of Maud Street, Liverpool.

All three have been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to steal motor vehicles, being concerned in the supply of class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine) and possession with intent to supply class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine).

They appeared at Chester Magistrates' Court on Thursday 13 March where they were remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Thursday 10 April.

The charges relate to reports of nine burglaries between 17 and 25 February 2025 across Chester, Ellesmere Port and Wirral.
