The role involves providing high quality support for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and/or inclusion needs, helping them to achieve their full educational and developmental potential.

Responsibilities include providing direct support to a caseload of students with SEND and inclusion needs, carrying out pre-entry assessments and regular student reviews, and liaising with staff to plan appropriate learner support.

It also involves producing SEND support plans, and leading on EHCP consultations and annual reviews.
