A Chester local has praised a family-run hearing clinic for its friendly and personal approach to hearing health.

Hear Pure Chester is an independent clinic which focuses on affordability, personalised care and long-term support - something the team believes is often missing from larger high-street chains.

The business was recently commended by Anne Rigby, a Chester local who is blind and in her sixties.

Anne had been experiencing difficulties with her hearing for several years, particularly when following conversations in noisy environments or listening to quieter speech and music.

Although she initially used NHS hearing aids, Anne wanted to explore whether other options could further improve her hearing and quality of life.

During her appointment at Hear Pure Chester, audiologist Cordero took the time to understand Anne's individual needs, including how her blindness affected the way she relied on her hearing in everyday life.

Following a thorough assessment, he recommended the Starkey Omega AI 24 hearing aids, which were programmed to suit her hearing requirements.

Anne revealed that since the fitting, she has been able to regain access to valuable sounds and aspects of hearing that she had been missing.

"At every step, I have been treated and supported with a lot of understanding and dignity," she said.

She also praised the team for their ongoing support, as she said: "I have found all Hear Pure staff really friendly, helpful and understanding."

Finding the right hearing aids has made a real difference to her everyday life, Anne explained, helping her get more from conversations and experiences that had previously become increasingly difficult.

Anne's experience also highlights the importance of the aftercare. Hearing aids often require ongoing adjustments, advice and support to ensure patients continue to get the best from their technology.

Rather than feeling like just another customer in a high-street chain, the team at Hear Pure maintain that patients deserve to feel listened to, understood and supported as individuals.

At Hear Pure, the focus is on building relationships with patients and providing personal care that continues well beyond the initial fitting.

The Hoole-based clinic offers a range of services, including hearing tests, earwax removal, tinnitus assessments, custom-made earplugs, hearing aid fittings, and aftercare.

Whether you are experiencing hearing difficulties yourself or are concerned about a friend or family member, the team at Hear Pure Chester is available to offer advice and help you explore your options.
