Live performance - St Mary's Creative Space - Friday 3 July

This Friday evening, St Mary's Creative Space will host acclaimed American singer-songwriter Brennen Leigh.
Kicking off at 7.30pm, the show brings together Brennen Leigh, known for her classic storytelling style and country-influenced songwriting, alongside special guest Jackson Ward, a UK-based country artist from Chorley.
Leigh is celebrated for her sharp lyricism and traditional country influences, with a reputation as both a distinctive vocalist and highly regarded songwriter within the Americana scene.

Author event - Books on the Walls - Saturday 4 July

Books on the Walls will host a book signing with Christopher Tradgett on Saturday 4 July from 2pm to 2.30pm.
The free drop-in event invites visitors to meet the author and hear about his writing journey, including how he began writing fiction through Storyhouse's 'Write Here, Write Now' group.
His debut novel Just Another Tuesday in Manhattan developed from early short stories, one of which was featured at the Northwich Literature Festival 2025 before expanding into a full-length book. The novel went on to be named Readers' Choice at the Open Book Awards 2025.
Visitors can drop in during the afternoon to speak with the author and explore his journey from short-form writing to published novelist.
Midcentury Markets - Carriage Shed - Sunday 5 July

Midcentury Markets returns to Carriage Shed this Sunday 5 July from 11am to 4pm.
The market brings together specialist traders from across the UK, showcasing mid-century furniture, home décor, and collectibles from the 1940s–1970s, including pieces inspired by brands such as G-Plan, Ercol, Knoll, and Eames.
Visitors can expect a carefully curated selection of authentic pieces from specialist traders across the UK, with everything from statement furniture to smaller decorative items.
Tickets are available in timed entry slots to help manage visitor flow. Early Bird entry runs from 11am for £5, standard entry from 12pm for £3, and under 12s go free.

Rummage Club - Exchange Square - Sunday 5 July

A second-hand shopping event will take place at Exchange Square on Sunday 5 July from 11am to 3pm.
'Rummage Club' will feature a range of sellers offering vintage clothing, records, books, homeware, collectibles and other pre-loved items.
Designed as a more informal, hands-on alternative to traditional markets and car boot sales, traders will showcase items from suitcases, crates, and small pop-up displays.
Entry is free for all visitors. Those looking to sell can book a stall for £15, with space for sellers to create their own small pop-up setup using a suitcase or compact display.
