The Deva Tap is hosting two weeks of Oktoberfest events until 5 October.

A description for the event reads: "The New Deva Tap brings you Oktoberfest - Deva Tap style!

"A choice of memorable Deutschland lagers and german beer food is all you will need to make the most of your week to week this Autumn. We will be serving steins of german draught beers in addition to our usual unique tastes of different ales, lagers and ciders.

"We will also be serving a dedicated Bavarian menu alongside our day to day menu, which will consist of some german classics and Deutschland twists.

"From bratwurst to frikadellen and the ever famous, Deva Tap schnitzel."

Filthy Chester Tour - Friday 26 September - Meeting outside Chester Visitor Information Centre

Live History is hosting another brand new 'Filthy Chester Tour' (Image via: LiveHistory)

Live History is hosting another brand new 'Filthy Chester Tour' this Friday at 5:30pm, meeting outside Chester Visitor Information Centre (where you can buy tickets).

A description for the event reads: "Hear about historical court cases that would make people blush, consider how certain lost buildings played host to disasters - or learn Shakespearean slang that will get you laid.

"This is a tour for those with a dark sense of humour, who relish uncomfortably taboo tales of a more 'adult nature' - grotesque, sexy and obscene language, complete with images of lost local buildings and a bag of naughty replicas.

"Not suitable for those with a sensitive disposition due to taboo stories and contextual swearing. Strictly 18 years and over."

Tickets can also be pre-booked online here.

A raffle is also on the cards with many local businesses having donated prizes, such as Picturehouse, Cavani Menswear, Scented Garden, Bookingham Palace and Brow House.
