Pre-loved shopping event coming to Chester Northgate this summer

A new second-hand shopping event is coming to Chester city centre this summer.
Rummage Club will take place at Exchange Square on Saturday 5 July from 11am to 3pm, bringing together sellers offering vintage clothing, records, books, homeware, collectibles and other pre-loved items.
The event aims to provide an alternative to traditional markets and car boot sales, with traders selling directly from suitcases, crates and small displays.
Organisers say the event is designed to tap into the growing popularity of second-hand shopping and resale platforms, giving shoppers the chance to browse unique items while supporting a more sustainable way of buying.
Visitors can attend free of charge and explore dozens of stalls featuring one-off finds and vintage pieces.
Those looking to sell unwanted items can book a stall for £15, with spaces available for sellers to create their own pop-up shop using a suitcase or small display.
Taylor Hill, Marketing Manager at Chester Northgate, said: "With more people than ever buying and selling pre-loved items through platforms like Vinted, we wanted to bring that experience into the city centre and create something people can enjoy in real life.
"There's something far more exciting about having a rummage through a suitcase, discovering a unique piece and meeting the person behind it than scrolling on your phone.
"Bringing more sustainable lifestyle choices to Chester Northgate is important to us, and Rummage Club is a great example of how we can create fun experiences that encourage people to shop differently, support circular fashion and give unwanted items a second life.
"Whether you're hunting for vintage fashion, records, books or homeware, you never know what you might find."
