Police are investigating a number of vehicle thefts in Chester.

Chester Police received multiple reports of thefts and attempted thefts from motor vehicles in the Lache and Westminster Park areas between Saturday 1 August and Sunday 2 August 2026.

The incidents took place in Merton Drive, Lache Park Avenue, Edwards Road, Smithy Pathway, Mercer Way, Lonsdale Court and Lache Hall Crescent.

Cash, a wallet and a purse were reported stolen during the incidents.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "Enquiries are ongoing and officers are patrolling the area."

Anyone who has been affected is asked to report the incident by calling 101 or via the Cheshire Constabulary website.
