Metro Bank will open its newest store in Chester city centre this week.

Set to open its doors this Friday (4 July), the Foregate Street store is inviting businesses, new customers and the local community to attend its opening ceremony celebrations.

From 9.30am on both Friday 4 and Saturday 5 July, where there will be numerous giveaways. Chester-based Krum Gelato will also be providing complimentary sorbets from 11am to 2pm.

This fan zone will take place on Eastgate Street by the junction of St Werburgh Street.

Metro Bank is the ECB's first Champion for women's and girl's cricket, and the opening ceremony will capture and celebrate this.

An official ribbon cutting will take place at the Metro Bank store on Foregate Street at 1pm on Friday 4 July - with dignitaries from the local community, announced by Chester's Town Crier. 

Visitors will be welcomed into the new store to meet the team, who will be on hand to help with account openings, appointment booking and general banking support.

The opening of the new store will create 11 jobs in the area.

Metro Bank offers relationship banking, putting in-person customer experience at forefront of its service and offers the longest Saturday opening hours of any high street bank. 

Open six days a week, the bank operates 9.30am to 5pm on Monday to Friday and 9.30am to 4pm on Saturdays.

It has been consistently recognised in the CMA's customer satisfaction tables, scoring highly for in store service for business and personal customers.

Chester marks Metro Bank's 76^th store across the UK. Under the Bank's store growth and expansion, Gateshead and Salford Quays will open later this year.
