Maray is offering a half price discount at its Chester restaurant this January.

Guests can enjoy 50% discount on all vegan and vegetarian dishes from Monday to Thursday throughout January.

A spokesperson for Maray said: "Green January is about celebrating our vegetarian and vegan offerings which we are so well known for.

"Vegetables are a huge part of what we do, they are incredibly versatile and a mainstay of Middle Eastern, North African and Mediterranean cuisine all of which are a huge source of inspiration for our food.

"We love cooking with vegetables and we also want to highlight the fact that a small reduction in your meat intake can be good for your health, and also good for the environment (and in this case very good for your wallet too)."

The offer is only valid from Monday to Thursday throughout January, with discounts exclusively on vegetarian and vegan dishes from the main menu.

The Liverpool-based restaurant chain opened on Northgate Street in early December last year.

Having first launched on Bold Street 11 years ago, the Chester restaurant is Maray's fourth site, with other venues in Liverpool and Manchester.
