Man charged in relation to Chester fraud cases

A 24-year-old man has been charged in connection with incidents of fraud in Chester.
Mason Crozier, of Oak Bank Avenue, Manchester, was arrested on Monday 1 September. This followed an investigation into numerous incidents of fraud across the country.
The charges relate to reports of fraud in Chester, Bollington, Lancashire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire - between 11 May and 24 August 2025.
The 24-year-old has since been charged with 22 offences.
This includes seven counts of fraud by false representation, seven counts of theft of a motor vehicle, seven counts of impersonating a police officer and one count of possession of an article for use in fraud.
Crozier has been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday 6 October.
