A man has been charged in connection with a number of vehicle thefts, including an incident in Chester.

After being arrested on Tuesday 16 December, 39-year-old Lileikis Edvinas has been charged with conspiracy to steal motor vehicles.

The charges relate to eight vehicle thefts in Cheshire and Staffordshire between Tuesday 18 November to Tuesday 16 December.

The thefts included incidents in Chester, Ellesmere Port, Warrington, Crewe, and two in Wilmslow - along with a further two incidents in Stoke-on-Trent.

Edvinas, from Little Barn Lane, Mansfield, will appear at Chester Crown Court on Thursday 15 January.
