Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash in Chester left a 79-year-old man seriously injured.

At around 6.40pm on Thursday 28 May, officers were called to reports of an incident on the A41 Hoole Roundabout.

Officers attended and found there had been a collision between a blue Ford Fiesta and a red motorcycle.

The rider of the bike, a 79-year-old local man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Hospital, where he remains at this time.

The driver of the Fiesta, a 35-year-old man from Chester, was uninjured.
