Man, 22, charged following serious Chester assault

A 22-year-old man has been charged following a serious assault in Chester.
Jamie Spencer was arrested on Monday 20 July 2026. The 22-year-old, of no fixed abode, has since been charged with section 18 assault.
After appearing at Chester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 22 July, he was remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday 19 August.
The charge relates to reports of an assault in the Chester area on Monday 20 July 2026, in which a man suffered serious injuries.
