Work has now been completed which has seen LED lighting fitted within all four stands at Chester FC's Deva Stadium.

The two-week project was undertaken by A J Shone electrical to replace the original canopy lights in the stadium stand to LEDs.

Following the completion of this work, the club will now see a two thirds reduction in energy bills from usage of these lights.

This new scheme will help contribute towards the club's net zero targets.

The LED lights were also part-funded thanks to a successful grant application to Groundwork Cheshire Sustainable Business Services.

Chester FC said: "A big thank you to Alan Shone and the team at A J Shone for their work to complete this project."
