Police have released images after a woman was assaulted in Chester city centre.

At 12.15am on Sunday 1 March, the victim, a 32-year-old woman, was assaulted by an unknown woman at Red Door on St John Street in Chester.

The victim suffered minor facial injuries during the incident.

Officers have now released images of a woman they would like to speak to as they believe she may have vital information.

Anyone with any information as to the identity of the woman pictured should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or visit here, quoting 26000166724.

Cheshire Police is also appealing directly to the woman pictured to contact the force.
