Chester event marks crucial milestone for 'Our Dee Estuary' project

The team behind 'Our Dee Estuary' are set to celebrate three years of the project at Hoole Community Centre on 8 March.
The all-day drop-in event will have a variety of activities and exhibits for people to enjoy, whilst tucking into free refreshments.
'Our Dee Estuary' is a community conservation project that works across the country border, to improve the area for both people and wildlife.

The day will be a celebration of all the work that has been achieved by staff and volunteers in Chester over the past three years.
Activities and exhibits will include children's entertainment all day, such as performers and face painters, Welsh language taster sessions, stalls from project partner organisations and a screening room to watch the 'Our Dee Estuary' films and other digital creations from the project.
Funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to National Lottery players, the 11 organisations that form the Tidal Dee Catchment Partnership created the Our Dee Estuary project and have been collaborating throughout the last three years.
The event will run from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 8 March, at Hoole Community Centre, on Westminster Road.
