Four people were injured this morning (16 April) following a crash involving three vehicles in Chester.

At around 8:40am, police were called to the eastbound carriageway of the A55 between Broughton and the Post House Roundabout, where a Renault van, a SEAT Ateca and a BMW had been involved in a crash.

One fire engine from Chester attended the scene at approximately 8:46am.

By the time emergency services arrived, all occupants had already safely exited their vehicles.

Police confirmed there were no serious injuries, although all four people involved were treated for minor injuries at the scene.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and made the vehicles safe.
