Four men from Greater Manchester have been charged with drug offences in Chester.

Jake Ashworth, Ashley Brown, Owen Hartley and Daniel Willcocks were arrested on Wednesday 9 September.

The arrests were part of an ongoing investigation into the supply of heroin and crack cocaine in Chester between 1 February and 5 March 2026.

Following questioning, the Crown Persecution Service authorised the following charges.

Ashworth, 22, of Nelson Street, Middleton, was charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine) and possession with intent to supply class B drugs (cannabis).

Brown, 20, of Manchester Road, Shaw, was charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine).

Hartley, 21, of Cowlishaw Lane, Shaw, was charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine).

Willocks, 22, of Princess Road, Manchester, was charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine) and possession with intent to supply class B drugs (cannabis).

All four men have been remanded in custody and are set to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Thursday 10 September.
