Liverpool-born restaurant to fill former North Light unit

A Liverpool-based restaurant chain will open its next location in Chester's former North Light unit.
Maray is set to join the city's restaurant scene this winter as its fourth venture, having first launched on Bold Street 11 years ago.
Having signed a 15-year lease at Chester Northgate, the newest addition to Chester city centre has three other eateries - including two in Liverpool and one in Manchester.
Its unit in the Coachworks Arcade on Northgate Street was previously home to North Light, a Chester bar and restaurant which closed suddenly at the start of this year.

North Light's owner, The New World Trading company (NWTC), remained tight-lipped on the closure - despite repeated requests at the time for comment.
Similar stories from the company were also reported elsewhere in the country.
Sheffield's The Botanist on Leopold Square, also owned by NWTC, shut its doors permanently on January 6, following a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA). Coventry's Botanist branch also closed as part of the agreement.

Confirming the news, a spokesperson for Maray said: "We are so excited to be bringing Maray to Chester Northgate this winter.
"It's a city we've long admired and we believe it shares a lot of the same spirit and character that made us fall in love with our first site on Bold Street 11 years ago.
"We can't wait to open our doors and become a part of the Chester community!"
The chain has hinted at various launch events to celebrate its opening, including 50% off during its first week of trade.
