Fire crews were called to a house blaze in Chester on Friday (6 December).

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire on the third floor of a mid-terraced property Bouverie Street in Chester.

One fire engine from Chester, one from Ellesmere Port and one from Tarporley responded to the incident and found everyone inside accounted for.

Firefighters used a hose reel to put out the fire, which involved a chair.

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A high pressure fan was used to remove smoke from the property.

"Paramedics also attended and crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and 20 minutes.

"It is believed the fire was started accidentally."
