A vintage clothing stall in Chester Market is set to close its doors this month.
The Vintage Spot was founded by husband-and-wife duo Shaf and Lydia, who also run Northgate Street's Poké Bowl, in October 2024.
The team has now announced the store will be closing later this month, citing struggles currently facing independent retail as factors behind the decision.
A spokesperson said: "Independent retail is so tough right now - as many of you will know, two vintage shops in Chester have closed in just the past few months.
"Everyone is feeling the pinch right now and we completely understand that most people are skint. That's why we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has still chosen to shop with us, even when money was tight.

"Every purchase, every like. Every visit - you kept us going longer than we expected."
Ahead of its official closing on Friday 21 November, the team have put on a 'farewell sale', with everything in store now 50% off the tag price - whilst stocks last.
With a focus on supporting local independents, the team outlined how they are 'proud' to have been one of the last vintage shops in the city.
They said: "Whilst we don't want to see any more independents close, we know we won't be the last unless people continue to support small businesses wherever possible. So when you're ready to spend again, remember your local independents.
"From the bottom of our hearts - thank you for giving us the opportunity to give something exciting a go!
"If you don't try, you'll never know."
