Officers investigating reports of a burglary in Chester have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.

At around 9.35pm on Wednesday 15 January, two unknown offenders gained entry into a hotel on Hoole Road.

Once inside the premises the pair walked around the building and stole an eBike and a rucksack.

Enquiries are ongoing and as part of the investigation, officers have now released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.

Police Constable James Wright, of Chester Proactive Team, said: "Enquiries in relation to this incident are ongoing and we're committed to doing all we can to identify the people responsible.

"As part of our investigation we would like to appeal to anyone who recognises the men pictured in the CCTV images, as we believe they may hold vital information.

"The same goes for anyone with any information in relation to the incident.

"We would also urge the men pictured to contact us."

You can report information to Cheshire Police here or call 101, quoting IML 2006992.
