Fire crews rescue driver after car overturns in Chester

In the early hours of Sunday morning (9 March), fire crews were called following reports of a car on its side.
At 2:47am, two fire engines from Chester and one fire engine from Ellesmere Port attended the scene.
Crews were called to the A55 Eastbound junction 38, following a report of a single vehicle collision.
Upon arrival it was discovered that a car was on its side on an embankment.
Firefighters stabilised the vehicle and extracted one casualty.
The person inside the car was assessed by firefighters before being handed into the care of paramedics.
