A first look inside The Ivy Chester

The Ivy Chester Brasserie hosted a launch event on Wednesday (23 April) ahead of its official opening next week.
Located on Newgate Street, the venue will open to the public on Tuesday 28 April, marking the latest addition to Chester's growing dining scene.
An exclusive guestlist were given a first look at the restaurant's interiors and outdoor terrace, featuring live music from a roaming band.
Attendees included the Lord Mayor of Chester, Cllr Sherin Akhtar, as well as a number of local celebrities including Real Housewives of Cheshire stars Lystra Adams, Royston Blythe and Nick Malenko, former footballer Ian Rush MBE and Love Island's Lucy Quinn.
Food and drink from the menu were served throughout the night, including truffle arancini, grilled sirloin skewers with truffle mayonnaise, and mini smoked haddock and salmon fishcakes.
A signature cocktail, the "Roman Holiday" - made with honey syrup, lemon and Fever-Tree grapefruit soda - was also among the drinks on offer.
"Launching The Ivy in Chester is a truly exciting moment for us, and we're delighted to have been able to celebrate it with some of the city's most recognisable faces," said Niall O'Sullivan, General Manager of The Ivy Chester Brasserie.
"It has been a pleasure to offer a first glimpse of what's to come, and we can't wait to officially open our doors and welcome the wider Chester community next week."
The Ivy Chester Brasserie will officially open on 32 Newgate Street in Chester, on Tuesday 28 April.
