A first look inside Spinners Chester
By Dherran Titherington 26th Mar 2026
Nub News recently got a first look inside Spinners Chester ahead of its official opening this Friday.
Located on Frodsham Street in the former Poundland unit, the venue puts a modern spin on classic games, including duckpin bowling, electric darts, clay shooting, mini golf, boules and shuffleboard. It also offers artisan food and an extensive drinks menu.
As the Spinners Group's fourth site, founder and director Jamie Bylett said Chester was an obvious choice.
"There isn't anything too similar to it in the city," he told Nub News. "It's something new and exciting for Chester - I think the city has been crying out for this."
Bylett also explained how the venue's lineup of activities is designed to offer a fresh take on familiar favourites.
He said: "We've got our own unique game, Clay Shop, developed with an Olympic clay shooter to make it really realistic. We've also got a new version of Duckling Bowling - smaller balls, smaller pins, three throws instead of two."
Alongside the games and "seriously Instagrammable interiors," Spinners Chester also offers cocktails, pizzas, burgers and loaded sides.
"It's just a really good atmosphere and vibe, something Chester can be proud of," he added. "It's our best venue; we've got really good staff and great general managers joining us."
Spinners Chester opens to the public this Friday 27 March.
