An 11-year-old boy has been hospitalised following a crash in Handbridge this morning (Monday 13 October).

Police were called to the junction of Greenway Street, Handbridge, at 8.40am this morning.

It followed reports of a crash involving one vehicle and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, an 11-year-old boy, was taken to hospital after suffering a 'serious leg injury'.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "At 8.40am on Monday 13 October, police were called to reports of a collision in Handbridge, Chester.

"The pedestrian, an 11-year-old boy, suffered a serious leg injury and was taken to hospital."
