There is a potential opportunity for the position to progress to a Full-Time position.

We wish to welcome a well-presented, respectful, hardworking individual into our team on a casual/part-time basis initially with the view to progressing to a full time position.

This role is varied and involves assisting with daily tasks such as preparation of Hearses and Limousines prior to a funeral service and assisting on funeral services, as well assisting with the maintenance and cleanliness of our funeral home

We take great pride in every vehicle, ensuring they are all immaculate both inside and out before leaving the funeral home and welcome someone with the same passion and pride

Other duties will include:

• Chauffeuring on funeral services
• Pallbearing
• Valeting of vehicles
• Ensuring the cleanliness of our funeral home, daily
• A regular requirement to be on call, out of hours to bring a loved one into our care. An essential aspect of the role which can involve attending an address in the middle of the night to look after a loved one who has passed away
• Care of the deceased entrusted into our care

Skills and qualities required:

• A full, clean driving licence is essential
• No experience necessary as full training will be provided via our very own in-house training programme
• Please be aware that this role involves heavy lifting
• A DBS Check will be carried out
