- We are seeking an experienced Water Project/Contracts Manager to oversee and deliver a variety of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) water projects from inception through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects and other client frameworks, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Deliver projects end-to-end, managing all stages from initial planning through to final handover.
- Manage and deliver Anglian Water M&E maintenance projects (small to medium scale).
- Take full responsibility for project Profit & Loss (P&L), producing regular financial and progress reports.
- Liaise closely with existing Delivery Engineers and develop relationships to expand the current network.
- Provide technical input and guidance on M&E processes.
- Manage additional M&E and pump-related projects across a variety of clients.
- Process inspection reports across client sites (schools, industrial estates, domestic dwellings, etc.).
- Prepare and supply remedial quotations following inspections.
- Lead and support business development opportunities to grow client accounts.
- Manage tendering processes, including bid preparation and submission.
- Effectively use CRM systems for project tracking and client management.
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance across all projects.
- Create and implement RAMS, Construction Phase Plans (CPPs), and ensure CDM regulations are fully adhered to.
- Proven track record in project/contract management within the water or utilities sector.
- Strong technical understanding of M&E processes.
- Experience managing P&L and reporting at senior level.
- Solid knowledge of CDM regulations.
- Experience creating and reviewing RAMS/CPPs.
- Familiarity with tendering processes and business development.
- SMSTS qualification.
- NEC4 contract experience.
- Proficient in the use of CRM systems.
