About the role:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Peripatetic Manager to support a group of five nursing homes, each offering specialised care for residents with complex needs, including behaviours which can challenge. The successful candidate will provide hands-on support to Home Management Teams to ensure and maintain compliance with CQC regulations, drive continuous improvement, and enhance the quality of care across all homes.This mobile role is ideal for a proactive, qualified nurse with strong leadership skills, a passion for mentoring, and a commitment to delivering excellent outcomes in care.Key responsibilities-Provide operational support to Home Managers in achieving and sustaining CQC compliance.-Mentor, coach, and develop staff at all levels, fostering a culture of learning and accountability.-Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of action plans to address areas of improvement.-Assist with auditing processes and quality assurance initiatives to promote best practices.-Lead and support change initiatives to drive service development and improvement.Requirements-Minimum 3 years' experience in a management or leadership role withinelderly or dementia care-Sound knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards, Health & Social CareAct, and other relevant legislation-Experience working within complex dementia environments and challenging behaviours-Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and clinicalgovernance-Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills-Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between services asrequired.
