These teams are responsible for important daily activities to maintain production within the wing assembly business. We are responsible for a wide range of activities so there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in all aspects of aircraft production. We are a team of Business Support team and Health & Safety experts that enable wing manufacturing production on a daily basis and ensure this is achieved in a safe manner to ensure we exceed customer safety & Quality expectations. As well as day-to day operations, we implement longer-term strategies to improve the industrial system to enable flexibility of our production rates. What you will be doing:You will be working closely with the Health & Safety Leader and Operations Support Team to support the following objectives:

• Accident investigation and reduction, risk assessments, H&S improvement actions in a manufacturing environment;
• Business support will consist of cost saving initiatives and leading strategic improvement projects.

The role requires an understanding of fundamental lean principles and a demonstrated ability to support and implement projects to completion. It is recognised that successful candidates may have differing levels of knowledge of the more technical aspects of Project Management. As such they will be supported with a development programme suitable to their requirements. Requirements:Our placements are open to Undergraduates only . • Studying towards a degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent;

• The ability to listen, understand and communicate effectively;
