Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools

Location: ChichesterContract Type: Flexible Supply Work (Full-time/Part-time)Pay Rate: £120 - £140 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Interaction Education are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a supply basis across secondary schools in Chichester and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the classroom, whether you're a graduate considering a career in teaching, an experienced education professional, or someone with strong behaviour management skills looking for flexible work.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising students in the absence of the regular class teacher
  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring a constructive learning environment
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a safe, respectful space
  • Assisting with any administrative tasks related to the cover lessons

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • A degree or equivalent is preferred but not required
  • A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
