Collaborate closely with the principal architect and clients from planning through to completion. Your responsibilities will include producing high-quality technical information, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring the successful realisation of design intent on-site.Key Responsibilities of the Architectural Technologist:- Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for planning, tender, and construction stages.- Prepare and manage Building Regulations submissions.- Develop and maintain drawing standards and technical workflows.- Attend site visits and client meetings as required.- Assist with contract admin and project management during construction phases.Requirements of the Architectural Technologist include:- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally with a high-end residential focus.- Proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with SketchUp and Adobe Suite is a bonus).- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.- Excellent communication and coordination skills.- Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple projects.- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and passion for delivering quality work.- CIAT registration or working towards is desirable.This role is perfect for a motivated Architectural Technologist eager to make a significant impact within a dynamic and creative practice.Please get in contact with Consulting for more information, or on how best to apply!
