Halloween Magic Comes to Frodsham as Popular Artisan Market Returns This Saturday

Frodsham is set for a spooktacular Saturday as the award-winning Independent Street brings its popular artisan market back to Main Street on Saturday 31st October, with a special Halloween celebration for the whole family.

Organised by Independent Street in collaboration with Frodsham Town Council, and supported by the Find It in Frodsham team, the event promises a fantastic day of independent shopping, delicious food, live entertainment and Halloween activities, bringing even more excitement to the heart of the town.

With over 70 independent traders expected to line Main Street, visitors can explore a wonderful selection of artisan food and drink, handmade jewellery, homeware, clothing, gifts, sweet treats and unique creations from talented local makers and small businesses.

Alongside the bustling market, organisers have planned a programme of Halloween entertainment designed to bring families into the town centre and encourage visitors to explore everything Frodsham has to offer.

A Spooktacular Day for All the Family

This month's market will feature a special Halloween Trick or Treat Trail, giving younger visitors the opportunity to join in the seasonal fun.

There will also be spooky walkabout characters bringing Halloween surprises to Main Street, while popular musician Chris Tavener will provide live entertainment throughout the event.

Creative youngsters can take part in a Magical Wizard Hats Workshop, hosted by Mila, where children can design and decorate their very own wizard hats using colour, imagination and plenty of magical details.

Visitors are encouraged to come along in fancy dress, with organisers hoping to see plenty of witches, wizards, ghosts and other Halloween characters enjoying the festivities.

Even the traders will be getting into the spirit, with a Best Dressed Stallholder Competition adding a little friendly Halloween rivalry to the market.

Supporting Frodsham's Independent Businesses

The monthly Frodsham Artisan Market has become a much-loved fixture in the town's calendar, attracting visitors from across Cheshire and beyond.

The event not only provides a valuable platform for independent traders, makers and food producers but also encourages visitors to spend time exploring Frodsham's established shops, cafés, restaurants and other town centre businesses.

We're especially excited about the Trick or Treat Trail, our spooky walkabout characters and Mila's magical wizard hat workshop. We really want families to come into Frodsham, enjoy the celebrations and make a day of it.

For us, these markets are about so much more than shopping. They're about bringing people together, creating a vibrant town centre and supporting the fantastic independent businesses that make our high streets so special.

From freshly baked cakes, brownies and pastries to hog roast, international cuisine, gourmet grilled cheese and locally produced food and drink, there will be something to suit every taste.

The market will also welcome community organisations, including Cheshire Wildlife Trust, alongside a Frodsham Town Council stand.
