This special event features a delightful Afternoon Tea followed by an engaging talk and Q&A session with acclaimed historical fiction author Ben Kane, hosted by Richard Hall of the Grosvenor Museum.
Indulge in a beautifully presented selection of freshly made sandwiches, cakes, and pastries, served with your choice of fine teas or freshly brewed coffee, all in the elegant surroundings of The Forge.
Ben Kane, once a practicing veterinary surgeon, discovered his passion for ancient military history during his travels across the globe. He has since become a full-time writer, renowned for his vivid and meticulously researched novels set in Ancient Rome. His best-known works include The Forgotten Legion trilogy, the Hannibal series, and Spartacus. With over a million copies sold and translations in more than a dozen languages, Ben's books are celebrated for their immersive storytelling and dramatic battle scenes.
This is a rare opportunity to meet the author in person, hear about his journey from vet to novelist, and gain insights into the fascinating world of Roman history and historical fiction.
