The Ivy Chester is set to open on Newgate Street next week, with menus now revealed ahead of its launch.

The restaurant will open to the public on Tuesday 28 April, with reservations now available. It will offer all-day dining, including breakfast and brunch, afternoon tea, à la carte options and a traditional Sunday roast.

A heritage menu will also be available, offering two courses for £20.95 from Sunday to Friday, with a selection of starters, mains and desserts.

Highlights include dishes such as crab and chive cream served with watermelon and avocado, The Ivy's classic shepherd's pie made with slow-braised lamb and beef, and pan-fried sea bass with a Keralan curry sauce.

Desserts range from crème brûlée and strawberries and cream to the restaurant's signature Chocolate Bombe, featuring a melting chocolate dome with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.

Afternoon tea will also be served, priced at £35.95, featuring finger sandwiches, scones and cakes, with the option to add a glass of Champagne.

Breakfast dishes include Eggs Benedict, buttermilk pancakes and a full English breakfast with smoked bacon, sausages and black pudding.

Kate Cooper, Restaurant Operating Officer for the North, said the menus had been designed to offer "something for every moment", from brunch to evening dining.

"Whatever the occasion, our focus is on offering delicious food and a welcoming service that makes every visit feel special yet accessible."
